When you're young(,) you commonly have a young and unconquerable spirit. You have the energy and the will to do new things and explore new experiences. Youth is the time were(when) we, young people are able to learn from our actions, and naturally when we become(turn) a certain age we begin with these curiosities. The ways youths take care of these curiosities are really different, and sometimes we take a wrong path like alcohol, drugs or sex, but there are other paths as sports, hobbies and traveling. When you're young(,) traveling is something you always have on (your) mind -at least in my case- because you open your mind and soul to other culture(cultures). I had this opportunity and I will never forget it. This opportunity(,) to open your mind that traveling offers(,) is something unique because traveling is a way to explore new places and try new experiences.

I went to Flint, Texas last year and that really open(opened) my mind. If you’re wondering how travel(traveling) can open your mind(,) just think (about) this: you usually move in the same places every day. You have a schedule that usually(almost) never changes. You have a kind of routine for doing homework. You always have something to do or at least that was my case. The opportunity that traveling offers(offered) me was breaking (free from) that routine. When you’re in other(another) place(,) you visit places(locations) you don't go often(,)(;) you don't have a routine(,) so you can appreciate things lot better. Also(,) you may have less thing(activities) to do and this lets you enjoy the things(bustle) that happen(happens) around you. You can enjoy and try to understand how the local people lives(live), shop, and also how they have good times. This experience is very unique.

Other(Another) thing that help(helped) me open my mind and have a really, really good time was trying(living) new experiences. I went fishing for my first time, and it was amazing. The villages where we were staying were kind of a sport facilities so they have(had) a mini golf , tennis fields, basketball fields, (and) volleyball fields (courts,) and they even have(had) their own marina. Having all those things around certainly help you to get busy, and it was really fun. We play(played) a lot of games with mi cousin, we went fishing all day long to lake palestine(Palestine,) and we even have(had) the opportunity to (learn) how to cut a fish and how to prepare a good meal that in my country is called: “Ceviche”. But I have to tell that the place was in a rural place, it was around like 3 hours from Dallas and it didn’t have many places to go shopping. These(This) make(made) us move and know different places(.) we(We) finally stayed at dallas the last 3 days of our trip (in Dallas).

Traveling when you’re young is a positive activity that can touches(touch) you and moves(move) you but more(most) important(importantly,) it can gets(give) you an open-mind and new experiences to consolidate you(your) character and temper. It’s also fun and answers(sooths) the desire or curiosity that we young people have about other cultures and other ways of living. I would strictly recommend you to give it a shot. Travelings(Traveling) is something you wont(won’t) regret and it gives you the opportunity to learn something new, something that may help you to become the grown up you’re meant to be.

Should cellphones be banned at school?

In the 20th century the cellphone problem didn't exist but nowadays it is an obvious problem that needs to be dealt with. The first reaction of schools was banning cellphones but nowadays the problem persist and they're wondering if they should ban the cellphones or they shouldn't. In the first case, banning cellphones is just a short-term solution because students still can buy or get another one, and they're not learning the appropriate uses of a cellphone. This kind of arguments is making schools change their cellphones policies. Nowadays some schools allow the use of cellphones as long as it does not distract the other students. This is a big step in these matters, and it means that schools are adapting to technology. With the abundance of iphones, ipads, androids, galaxy tablets and laptops, schools and teachers just saw either a big powerful tool for learning or a massive distraction for students. This is why I think that now they shouldn't ban technology; they should teach students the appropriate use of it because cellphones (and other electronic devices) are going to be used during the student's whole life, and if they want to be prepared, they need to know the appropriate use of them.

The consumerism in the American culture is something that has grown since the United States chose the capitalism as its economic system, and nowadays has become a way of life in the American society. First at all, consumerism is a social trend where people buy more things that the things they basically need, and it began when US choose capitalism as its economic system. The capitalism is an economic system that is based in the existence of “goods” and establishes that the creation and trade of these goods brings profits to the rest of the society. As an example the trade of a product for example a cup, generates wealth to the producer, distributor, the enterprise that sells the material etc. In difference with other cultures the U.S. became the richest country after the world wars and this meant that the US citizens also became richer and their work was more profitable. American citizens started to categorize other people by their economic status and wealth, and in the American culture the economic status is taken as the reward of hard work. So the way to demonstrate that you're more powerful or that you work more or make more profit is spending more and getting more goods. The problem when you start to buy things is that you start to give value to things that you don't need, and every time you need more to be happy. Also consumerism represents a lack of values because consumerism persons think that it is better to worry about what you have rather than who you are. This in my opinion is the major fault of this system

Cici´s Pizza Vs. Pizza Hut

When talking about ordering a pizza lots of names come out, pizza hut, Domino's, Little Caesar's, Cici's Pizza and still counting... But now I'm going to talk to you about two very different brands: Cici's Pizza and Pizza Hut. Even tough both sell pizzas they are different in so many ways, they have different type of menus, different business styles and different market targets. Cici's pizza has an all you can eat menus while pizza hut uses ordinary menus where you select what you want in your plate. Cici's pizza 's menus let you eat more than Pizza Hut's menus, but the quality of the food is certainly better at Pizza Hut's restaurants. Other thing that makes both restaurants clearly different is the business styles they use. Pizza Hut business style focuses in giving the client good quality food and service while Cici's pizza's business style is focused in giving the client an experience. At Cici's they focus on giving a relaxed style, affordable and friendly environment; where you can eat any pizzas you want and feel comfortable -like home-. The last thing that makes them pretty different is their market targets. They're are the cause that makes both restaurants have different business styles. The target market of Cici's pizza are youngsters while Pizza hut is a more "family" restaurant. Cici's its the perfect place where you can hang out with your friends to have a funny and recreative time. Pizza Hut's environment is particularly different from Cici's because Pizza Hut's target market is Families. This is a clear statement that makes both restaurants pretty different, even tough both have very delicious pizzas. Finally, It all depends in the kind of environment you prefer, and the purpose you have to hang out. Then the rest is to enjoy both nice restaurants.
